Pickleball ยท Sweet Action Games

Pickleball privacy policy

Effective October 5, 2026. Sweet Action LLC, using the Sweet Action Games name, provides Pickleball. Contact lance@extropolis.ai for privacy requests or app support.

Account and shared game information

The app uses your email address, account identifier, and chosen display name. If you use an offered Apple or Google sign-in option, that provider supplies the account information you authorize. Firebase Authentication handles sign-in credentials.

The app stores games and groups you create or join, venue information, player names, RSVPs, court assignments, session activity, and messages. Signed-in users can read your public profile. Group members can read their group information and messages; participants can read direct conversations. Signed-in users can discover games that organizers choose to list publicly. Shared information may reveal where and when people plan to play.

A copy of your games and messages is saved on your device to support use with an intermittent connection. Sign-out clears that account's shared app state from the app. Device preferences such as text size and analytics sharing remain.

Photos, location, and notifications

Profile photos are optional. Uploaded photos are held for review before a moderator can publish them to your profile. You can use an illustrated icon instead. Published photo URLs contain download tokens; someone with a URL may be able to retrieve the image. The app accesses the camera or selected photos only when you choose that feature.

With your permission, the app uses your current location to search for nearby games. You can enter a US ZIP code instead. Search coordinates and ZIP codes are used to perform the search; your current position is not saved to your profile. Public venue coordinates are stored to make games discoverable. Apple's location and geocoding services may process the location or ZIP-code request. The app does not request background location tracking.

If you enable alerts, the app stores notification preferences and a push token so requested alerts can reach your phone. Notifications may contain message text or court and partner information. Your device's notification settings determine what others can see on a locked screen. Expo, Apple, and on Android Google's notification services process delivery. You can turn alerts off in the app or device Settings.

Feedback and safety reports

Feedback includes your account identifier, rating, topic, message, app version, and submission time. Safety reports include the reporter's account identifier, report reason, relevant player or game identifiers, a snapshot of reported content, and moderation status. These records are available to the operator's support team, not other players. Blocks are stored privately for your account; the other participant can learn that direct messaging is unavailable without seeing your block list.

App usage analytics

Pickleball uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand screen visits and feature use, including game creation, RSVPs, and round controls. Settings > Share app usage controls collection and is on by default. App events exclude names, emails, Firebase account identifiers, game and thread identifiers, message and feedback text, invitation codes, and venue coordinates.

The Analytics SDK processes an app-instance identifier, app and device information, engagement information, and approximate region derived from network information. Advertising identifier collection and advertising consent are disabled. We do not use this information for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Turning sharing off stops new collection and resets analytics data on this device. Account deletion also resets local analytics data. These actions do not delete previously transmitted Analytics reports or aggregate statistics.

Why information is used and who processes it

We use information to sign you in, maintain your profile and memberships, coordinate games and messages, find public games, send requested alerts, moderate content, provide support, protect the service, and improve app features. We do not sell your personal information or run advertising in Pickleball.

Google's Firebase services provide authentication, database storage, photo storage, backend functions, and analytics. Apple or Google processes sign-in when you use that option. Expo and platform notification services process alerts. Service providers may process information outside your country under their service terms and privacy protections. Information you place in your profile, shared games, or messages is visible to other players as described above. See Google's privacy policy, Firebase privacy information, Expo's privacy policy, and Apple's privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Account and game information remains while needed to provide the service, until the account or applicable group is deleted. Feedback is deleted after 90 days or when its author's account is deleted. Closed moderation-report evidence is deleted after 90 days; open reports remain until reviewed. A rejected photo is deleted during review. Superseded or abandoned unpublished uploads are cleaned up after seven days; the current photo awaiting review remains until a decision or account deletion. A published photo remains until replaced, removed by moderation, or account deletion.

You can delete your account in Settings > Account > Delete my account. Deletion removes your profile, private notification settings, Firebase authentication account, uploaded photos, feedback, RSVP records, and messages you authored. Direct conversations are deleted. You are removed from groups; a group you own passes to another member, or is deleted if nobody else belongs to it. Storage removal must succeed before account deletion finishes. Apple authorization is revoked before deleting an Apple-linked account.

Other players' groups and session history can remain, including player names or assignments previously copied into shared records. Moderation evidence may remain for the period above to investigate abuse. Content already copied or exported by other people is outside our control. Contact lance@extropolis.ai about retained shared information or additional access, correction, or deletion requests.

Service providers retain operational and security records under their policies and configured retention. Operational logs can contain account identifiers, function names, request metadata, and processing outcomes; the application does not intentionally log passwords, Apple authorization codes, or chat-message bodies. Previously transmitted Analytics event data follows the Google Analytics property's retention settings; aggregated reports may remain longer. Deletion does not promise immediate removal from provider recovery systems or legally required records.

Your choices and rights

You can use a ZIP code instead of location permission, use an icon instead of a photo, adjust alerts and usage sharing, leave eligible groups, sign out, and delete your account. Device permissions can be revoked in device Settings. Contact lance@extropolis.ai about information access, correction, deletion, objection, or other rights available in your region.

Children and policy changes

Pickleball is for recreational sports groups and is not directed to children under 13. People under 13 must not create an account. Contact lance@extropolis.ai if you believe a child under 13 has supplied personal information so we can investigate and remove it.

We will identify a new effective date when this policy changes and communicate material changes when required.
